Strawberry Ice Cream

Kilby warned me that we would make this when she comes home later this month. Well, we made it to go with a chocolate cake this past Lord's Day and so, with thanks to wheresoever we got this recipe, we must add it here to our favorites. Warning: a little goes a LONG way. Very rich. Very good.

Ingredients:
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 quart strawberries, washed and topped
1 cup light cream

Directions:
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Chill ingredients, then follow the directions for your ice cream machine.
